We respect that relationship and our goal is to not only teach your dog/cat great social skills and behavior, but to strengthen the special bond that already exists between you and your pet.

We book each training one at a time.  You don't get locked into a packaged deal that you get stuck paying for if it doesn't fit your schedule.  We offer flexible times to meet your needs.  We tailor each session to you, your pet, your home, and your needs.  Saving you a LOT of money!  You never pay for training you don't need, just the training and behavior modification you desire.  You have a trainer, in your home for one-on-one sessions and demonstrations.  Before we leave, your dog/cat is actually doing the desired behavior, we won't just show you how to practice.

At Lake Effect Pet Training we work with animals of all ages and breeds. We use Positive Reinforcement to establish a healthy pet/owner relationship. Many animals are left at shelters and/or are euthanized due to the fact that they have not been well socialized or are not trained. At Lake Effect Pet Training, our philosophy is that a trained pet is a preferred pet, and a well-mannered animal will less likely be given up for adoption or be euthanized! Help your pet in becoming the well-behaved pet you desire by guiding him through obedience.

Obedience Training is essential for every dog, big and small! The lessons we offer, teach the basic commands and concentrate on problems you might be experiencing with your beloved pet.  Our goal is to ensure high quality instruction on an individual basis, which leaves both the dog and owner happy.  This program has been prepared to teach your dog to perform up to his ability.
